Off the Record

1 Mins read

Crime Fiction Lover’s own Luca Veste – aka Guilty Conscience – has edited a brand new book for charity called Off the Record. Inside you’ll find 38 short stories by crime writers including Neil White, Heath Lowrance, Chris Rhatigan, Paul D Brazill, McDroll and Julie Morrigan. Each carries the title of a famous song so, for instance, Neil White’s story is called Stairway to Heaven and Luca Veste’s own is Comfortably Numb. Another CFL contributor, R Thomas Brown, has written a piece entitled Dock of the Bay.

Most of the stories are crime fiction, with a few science fiction, horror and fantasy thrown in.

The book is available on Kindle and coming to paperback soon, and aside from all the up-and-coming and established writing talents involved, perhaps the best thing about it is that Off the Record is raising money for two literacy charities. One is in the UK-based National Literacy Trust and the other is the American charity Children’s Literacy Initiative.

If you head to this website, you can see the full line-up of contributors, or just go straight to Amazon and order your copy right now using the link below. Let us know what you think of it.
