Sonata of the Dead

1 Mins read

Sonataofthedead300The second novel by Conrad Williams to feature private detective Joel Sorrell, Sonata of the Dead sees our man investigating the murder of his daughter’s boyfriend. Oh, and Sarah herself is missing. It appears the dead man was part of a secretive organisation called The Accelerants and perhaps Sorrell’s daughter was a member too. Now, they’re being picked off one by one and the PI is in a race against time to catch the killer before it’s too late.

You don’t find all that many British private detective novels, but this one’s a triumph.
